Jessie discusses why teaching and modeling kindness to children is so important and how kindness can serve as a protective factor in schools when it comes to things like bullying and violence. We discuss how kindness relates to mental health and how we as adults can model kindness to our children. We end the episode by discussing how children can identify acts of kindness in others and why that recognition is so important.
