2020 is coming to a close and so is Season 1 of Psych Talk. Before jumping in to the details of today's episode, I wanted to thank all of my listeners for supporting the podcast over the past 7 months; Psych Talk would not be what it is today without you all.
In today's episode, I discuss how to live a value-aligned 2021. If 2020 taught us anything, it taught us that life is unpredictable. 2020 was not the year anyone expected and we had to learn how to adjust and adapt our lives to living through a pandemic. With 2021 just around the corner, I know most of us are hoping for a better 2021. With the New Year typically comes New Year's resolutions; however, we know that most New Year's resolutions fail by February. Compound that with a pandemic, it is likely that we will not be set up for success.
Instead of making a resolution this year, I discuss why its important to live a life that aligns with your values because no matter what 2021 may throw at us, our values are something that remain constant. In this episode I discuss what values are, how to identify your values, and why it is important to live a life that aligns with your values. I even have included a guided journal in the show notes for those interested in living a value-aligned 2021.
