Therapy - what is it really and who is it for? Growing up, we both saw therapy as the last resort for those with mental illnesses because that was how therapy was depicted in our pop culture and media back then. While therapy can be an aid to those with mental illnesses, it is also a form of self care. Today, Danni and Miki share their personal experience with therapy, including how they found their respective therapists, what led them to seek therapy, and the ways they have benefitted from seeing a therapist. We believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and encourage those who are ready to get to know yourselves better to take that first step towards investing in your emotional and mental wellbeing.
