Alexandra was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. She left the country in 2016 to pursue her Master´s degree in Sweden when she was 20 y.o. and later worked in Athens, Greece. In September 2019, she came back to work after a hiking trip to Armenia and realized that something didn´t fit in - she didn´t enjoy her work anymore, and she didn´t want to continue living a life like that. Two weeks later, she found herself resigning and buying a one-way ticket to Mexico. She didn´t have a lot of savings, didn´t speak a word of Spanish, and didn´t know what to do next. She backpacked solo around Mexico for six months, while volunteering at different places in exchange for free accommodation and picked up some Spanish. When Covid hit, Alexandra decided to stay in Mexico and eventually, found a remote job. After the borders got open, she continued traveling while working remotely full-time and now she´s based in Brazil, her 10th country in Latin America.
