The second Yama is Satya, or Truthfulness as it’s translated to in English, is not necessarily making life easier to live.
‘Why do we lie? Are we afraid to hurt someone’s feelings? Are we afraid if we told the truth we would not be liked anymore?
This one contains a lot of insights. And struggles as well. And as the author writes ‘truth rarely seems to ask the easier choice of us.’
