So the Mariners went and did a thing, getting the best available starting pitcher on the trade market.... my thoughts:
How good is he?
Did the Mariners pay too much to get him?
How does this impact the roster this year, and next?
The cost of prospects vs. proven talent.
Marte and Arroyo were good, but are their replacements going to be even better? (HINT: They're already in the organization)
