In this dose of Magic for Realists I give a brief overview of the landscape of my history of intimate relationships (including open and monogamous adventures) and lead up to sharing a poem with you about the ending of a significant relationship. This vulnerable poem is called "Bananas", and recounts how a symbolic moment helped me clarify that it was time to leave a partnership.
I talk about what is magical and dangerous about an intimate relationship, introduce some skills I believe are helpful, and remind you that YOU are the common factor in all your relationships. This is the first in a series about love and Intimate relationships; I hope you join in for the ride.
