Born from Ruth Royall's instagram campaign last year to raise awareness and rebel against unrealistic beauty standards. The ‘Keep It Real’ campaign flooded instagram with positive images intended to spread the message that we are enough as we are. The drum and bass community rose to the challenge and joined Ruth by posting images of themselves with #keepitreal painted on their body.
In response to this outpouring of support and with a clear need to take the conversation further, Ruth has launched a podcast to keep the discussion going.
In this Episode I chat to Tempza. Tempza is an MC and a well known voice on the DnB circuit. He's front man to one of the biggest liquid DnB duos on the scene - Hybrid Minds. Tempza has also launched his own clothing company 'Urban Creative Clothing' who's mantra "Be Brave, Be Kind, Create" resonated with The Keep It Real ethos, and I wanted to find out more.
