COMET ZTF: A  "new" comet was discovered in March 2022, nicknamed "Comet ZTF" in  honor of the Zwicky Transient Facility at Caltech's Palomar Observatory  in California. The comet is unusual in that it has a bright green color,  and because of its very large orbit around the Sun. It has been  "inbound" toward planet Earth for the past 53,000 years, will be closest  to Earth on February 1, and then will head out to continue its great  adventure into the unknown.
