Ricky Hall got his start in franchising as a franchisee for GNC. He built up his portfolio over ten years to run five stores.  After exiting GNC, Ricky was a franchisee for another brand for three years. He then decided to start his own brand under the name NutritionHQ.  In 2020, Ricky became a franchisor and currently has two locations.

Key Ideas:

• One of Ricky's biggest challenges on the franchisor side is properly vetting his first 10 franchisees to set up the organization for success
• Ricky has walked both sides and is committed to being a ‘franchisee-friendly’ franchisor
• Developing a strong brand identity for NutritionHQ came first and is now helping with his marketing efforts
• Ricky recognizes the importance of relationship building as he works to make his brand a part of the community

Ricky Hall (the founder and resident storyteller) has been running successful nutrition franchises for more than 15 years. His experiences and expertise are what have shaped the NutritionHQ brand.

If you ever saw Ricky you’d be shocked that he ever struggled with health (those muscles are no joke) But back in his Military College days, Ricky struggled with his fitness and body image. That’s when he discovered nutrition: How what we eat can fuel us and help us become our very best.
