Description

Guest Jason Bensten, Executive Director of the non-profit LoveMoves.Us, joins us to speak about Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

Bentsen and his wife Cheryl formed LoveMoves.Us to provide service and support for foster and adoptive families. Bentsen became interested in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), became a practitioner and now has launched a pilot 9-week training program for parents.

TBRI is a therapeutic, trauma-informed intervention program geared to train parents and caregivers in methods to provide effective support and treatment for at-risk children. There are three main principles of TBRI: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting.

Thank you, Jason, for taking the time to join us and to educate us on this!
