Jessica Schreiber uncovered a problem with commercial textile waste and sought out to rethink how we address it.
She founded FABSCRAP, a non-profit organization providing convenient pickup of unwanted textiles from New York City designer brands and businesses. FABSCRAP recycles and reuses fabric - keeping large volumes from the landfill and saving CO2 emissions.
