89 - We intentionally do things to spend more time with Jesus.
As it doesn’t come naturally, which it doesn’t for most of us.
And with any relationship the more you spend time with that person the closer you grow.
As followers of Christ, we want to grow closer to Him and we are here to encourage you to do the same.
Here we share some ways we spend more time with Jesus throughout our day.
Note we aren’t perfect with this but things we aim to do.
For the majority of our life, we didn’t have a relationship with Jesus…
for a few reasons, like we didn’t really know we could have one,
& we felt the Bible was for pastors not everyday people like us.
Also, we never really knew where to start with reading the Bible, and felt like there was a bunch of things we had to do every day in order to be good with God…
so we just never considered it much until last year when Jesus opened our eyes to the truth.👀
He wants us a relationship with us & you. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy but have a willing heart.
God is always there doing His part and it is up to us to do ours.
Not always easy or sometimes we don’t feel like it, that’s we make it a priority.
Basically, we just decided to do it and let God’s grace help us to continue to do it.
If you struggle with making this a priority in your life pray to God asking for His help with it. Ask Him to help you make it a priority in your life.
And He will.
