Description

In today's episode of The Referral Bench Podcast, Phil and Ian talk with Hector Simoudis from VP Legacies.

Hector, a well-traveled Greek, born and raised in the Middle East, experienced a melting pot of cultures from an early age. He considers himself lucky to be exposed to so many different lifestyles, cultures and walks of life.

Blessed with the ability to travel to 39 countries, it was in the poorest of communities that Hector learned the value of relationships and education. A natural people-person, Hector engaged with many individuals and sought to listen and to learn from them. And what he learned was money and materialistic goods didn’t make people happy, personal connections and education did.

Thus building relationships and creating educational opportunities became a life-long mission for Hector. On his way to achieving that mission, Hector developed a taste for entrepreneurship. At the age of nine, Hector set his old toys out on a bed sheet, draped them over his front lawn, and sold them to neighbors and passersby. His entrepreneurial spirit grew from there. From raking leaves to opening an American candy shop in his community in the Middle East, Hector knew he had a flair for business.

These experiences made him who he is today - a connector, who values meaningful relationships above all.

Co-Founding VP Legacies with his best friend, Jonny Havey, Hector's number one focus is to build long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
