Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The Word of God should be handled in three stages: Observation, Interpretation and finally, Application. As Christians, we often miss the second step, which is actually the most important since it builds the foundation of our doctrine. Therefore we need to take time to listen to sound teaching and to be guided on how to correctly interpret the Word.
