He (the Devil) will speak blasphemous words against the Most High and try to wear down the holy ones of the Most High. He will try to alter the set periods of time and change God’s decree, and the saints will be subjected to his power for a time, times, and half a time.
Discouragement is described in the dictionary as losing confidence in something. In the Christian context, discouragement comes from the devil. And it is used by the devil as a weapon to get us to stop serving God or stop praying. We can easily get discouraged when things don't go our way, but God wants us to see His plan for our life and to keep pushing on even when we don't see results.
