Drawing upon decades of personal experience as well as the insights of pagans who have lived with depression or treated it in others, Ward tackles the question of how to address the spiritual aspects of depression alongside other symptoms. The exercises included in the book include both magical and religious work, as well as tips on how to care for the body and mind during periods of depression.
