Hollie has been running since she was 12 when she joined her school's cross country team with a friends. There's been plenty of times since then that she's wanted to hang up her shoes, but her son Jonah Keeps her going. Jonah, 10, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, loves his runs with his mom, and inspires Hollie to reach new goals with him as her running buddy in his Hoyt running chair (www.hoytrunningchairs.com).

Hollie and I made an instant connection, and I am so thankful to have had this conversation with her. As moms of medically complex children, it is a blessing to have found each other through running -- in fact, it's incredible to share this optimism through our different challenges!

Hollie is also a partner with her cousin at BackRhodesDesigns on Etsy. Check out their shop for some really beautiful designs: www.etsy.com/shop/backrhodesdesigns
