Description

In this episode I got the opportunity to speak with Genevieve Lyons, amateur runner and creator of The Runner’s Report.

Genevieve’s running story almost has two beginnings and I’m so honored by her candor in our conversation where she really shares her “why “ for running 10 years ago, and how far she’s come since then. Genevieve has run the Chicago marathon 4 times and Berlin as well, but her journey to marathoning for herself is truly inspiring.

We talk about loss, and what it means to run for those who no longer can't. We also talk about our shared experiences with depression and what that means for perspective. Genevieve is an incredibly strong runner, but she is equally, if not more, a strong human of heart and soul.
