If I were a betting woman, I would bet you’ve used the phrase “I need to…” followed by a goal you want to achieve numerous times. Maybe it’s “I need to get up earlier,” or “I need to lose weight,” or “I need to keep a better work schedule,” or “I need to do dishes more often.” Or maybe, you’ve got a goal that you want to achieve, but looking at your schedule you’re not sure whether that’s achievable or not.

Researchers from Duke University say that over 40% of what we do isn’t determined by decisions, but habits. So, as you can see, habits are important for our daily lives. Without habits in place, we don’t carry out those goals we’ve set at the new year, or any time throughout the year. Instead of making goals and hoping willpower will help us through, we need to set goals and habits to start implementing.

In today's episode, I share more about habits - the reason (other than the grace of God) I'm able to do all that I do. We talk about what habits are, establishing new habits, and why they're important.
