We are living in a time where we can’t tell someone anything. Society has thought us to take pride in whatever we do. But we Fail to realize that pride is a feeling that do more harm than good. Being prideful takes you away from being humble and appreciative from the things we have achieve. We forget sometimes that it was God that allowed us to get what we got. What if I told that God Despise prideful man. Pride was something the devil had and because of it he was casted out of the Heavens. This pride is now the power of the black people. Pride is the only thing we have as black people. But is it really? We should be proud to be a person of color. But having pride is trying to perceive yourself to be better than others, even when they look like you. We must fix this issue because it’s getting us killed, hurt, and put into jails. Pride is what got Nipsey Hussle killed. Pride is what got Biggie killed. Pride is what got my brother killed. Pride is what got me into all my troubles in life. But my humbleness is why I’m still alive.
