Mexican Hot Chocolate (Cocktail)

  1. Add all ingredients except for tequila to a saucepan. 

  2. Whisk to combine.  

  3. Heat on low until mixture comes to a gentle boil, stirring.

  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. 

  5. Pour in mug, add tequila and whisk again.

  6. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks, if desired.
