On October 16, 2000, a grieving daughter, Marilyn Blalock, called the coroner's office. Her mother, Mary Lou Henderson Morris, who had been murdered four days before. She wanted to get back her mother's personal belongings, especially some family heirloom jewelry. The receptionist at the coroner's office stunned her with the reply: the body was still at the coroner's office, and the family could go to pick up her mother's personal belongings after the funeral. But, Marilyn had just gotten home from her mother's funeral. She had seen her mother before burial. In a twist of cruel fate, another woman named Mary Morris had been killed in the Houston area, four days after Marilyn's mother. And in the case of not one, but two Mary Morris' being tragically killed just days apart from one another, the questions still remains, over twenty years later: who killed the Mary's, and why?
