Making educated decisions can start with one small story to help you make a wealth of lifetime wise choices.

Let's say that your the king sitting in his high chair and you know that today is the day another king will be coming to visit you to talk about you perhaps purchasing some territory from him. You two have a pretty good partnership and have supported each other for a few years now and you know some things about the king but keep it to yourself and don't hold it against him because he's never done anything to you.
Previous to this appointment you two have written a few letters speaking about the possibility of purchasing some of his lands but the king insisted that he come visit to talk more in person you at your palace.
The day before the king arrived you had a scout go check out some intel you received regarding the real visit of the king and your scout came back with confirmation that it is going to be an attack to try and seize your crown.
This scout is a highly trusted individual and served your father before you became crowned king and you can trust his intel down to the bone. The reason for the king's plans is because he feels threatened by your growing kingdom and now you are left to make a choice.
Your hopes deep down inside are that you do not have to hold the past accountable to this king you consider a friend but still inform your body of men to merely be prepared in case anything happens.
The king shows up with gifts, and you are about to have dinner together and you get this idea to inform the king about this intel you received to test this partnership's reliability.
You decide to inform the king about your awareness and he admits to the truth of the visit.
