Dr. Donnie Lao, DO is an orthopedic surgeon in his 4th year of residency. Donnie takes us through how doctors choose residencies, the selection process, and the life of a resident. He discusses what to expect when it comes to hip and knee replacements including selecting a surgeon, surgery itself, recovery, and life with a knee and hip replacement.
Dr. Lao will begin his adult reconstruction fellowship in 2022 and specializes in hip and knee replacements. Donnie attended A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife Kait and dog Nalu.
