This sermon is about Thanksgiving and Christmas. In Jeremiah 33 God pronounced judgment on His people who had refused to turn from their evil ways. But later in the same chapter a promise of a righteous branch was made that would bring righteousness, justice, and salvation to the people. We know today that the righteous branch is Jesus Christ who came to save people from their sins. And so as the seasons change from Thanksgiving to Christmas, we give thanks for the gift of Jesus and His saving work.
