Description

For our sixth episode, Audrey and Matthew take on Academy Award Winner 'Parasite' and Academy Award Nominee 'Minari'; one is a Korean film and the other is Korean-American, an important distinction to make, as they are very different films. Parasite is a black comedy thriller, while Minari is a family drama. Both these films have been very successful on the international stage and have been fundamental in promoting Asian representation in cinema, alongside TV shows like 'Kim's Convenience' and 'Fresh off the Boat', and films like 'Crazy Rich Asians' and 'The Farewell'.
