Description

We have a very exciting episode this week; our first guest from the US! A talented up-and-coming filmmaker from California, Mel Hyde has already developed skills in cinematography, directing, and screenwriting. From creating her own minimalistic, skeleton-crew projects to sharing her stories to writing and developing international projects, she is poised to have a long and successful career in filmmaking.

She talks about her past a competitive swimmer, the shorts that she she's made herself, and her exciting future projects, with Audrey and Matthew, before discussing her love for blockbuster war film 'Dunkirk', and coming-of-age period drama 'Little Women'. Tune in to this episode to hear all of our thoughts on both these films, and the experience of a filmmaker starting out. Don't choose Maths, don't choose Science, choose Film!
