Aurora Faundo, a business instructor at Douglas College in Vancouver, Canada shared her inspiring journey from teaching in the Philippines to building a life in Canada after immigrating in 2011.

She quickly found her footing, starting with a job at a payday loan store while her husband went to school in Canada before returning to her passion for teaching. Today, she’s a dedicated educator and active community member, mentoring students and creating connections that empower others.
