Grit and Perseverance. The two key values that have pushed a young man from Sicogon island, Sando A. Silverio to reach for his dreams amidst poverty and the sadness over losing his parents early in life. Being the youngest, he is the first to finish college in the family. But he didn't just get his degree. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and received many other awards that brought honor to his school. Now, Sandro is teaching Math at Philippine Science High School. Being the JCI Asia Pacific Conference Champion in Public Speaking, he will soon compete in the JCI World Conference Public Speaking Competition.
