We have our first guest! Come meet Val Gilman, a sculpture, ceramic, sometimes encaustic artist with an MFA from the school of the art institute of Chicago. She is here to talk to us about her career coaching artists and the community spaces she has created. This was such a beautiful, winding conversation about how the right type of community can help artists understand their own work, why the right support helps us make more art, the similarities and wide differences of parallel experiences and the impact it has on artists when they truly feel seen.
