Today I am interviewing a powerhouse of a woman, her name is Alethea Fourlas. Alethea shares about the life and loss of her daughter Calista. Alethea is going to share her journey through navigating fertility struggles, IUI, a surprise high risk pregnancy that lead to unimaginable decisions of having to choose to keep her life or her daughter’s, ultimately choosing to do whatever she can to birth her daughter safely for the both of them. Upon Calista’s birth, Alethea discovered additional medical conditions and concerns that her daughter had that lead to multiple surgeries and ultimately her daughter’s death. Alethea shares her healing journey after losing her baby girl and navigating day-to-day life after this loss. Alethea has not only found powerful healing perspectives that she nourishes daily in her journey of navigating grief but has also stepped into a journey of empowering others.
