Paul describes to the Corinthian church, how God is the Father of Compassion and the God of all comfort (2 Cor 1:3). This is appropriate, as they have gone through some recent times... thus, he seeks to remind them of Who God Is; What We Receive & What We (are to) See -- because of the Lord Jesus.
Prayerfully, there will be practical lessons that we, too, can learn as we look at 2 Corinthians 1:3-7.
