There is so much to be considered when we look at the amazing truths within this letter... the deliverance we have received in Jesus; the freedom imparted; and the newness we can walk in.
These blessed truths are only possible because of the reality of Galatians 2:20... a verse that speaks to a 'willing death' resulting in a 'different life' because it is grounded in a 'solid faith.'
Have a listen as we look at the scriptures this morning - and afterwards, think on the following questions:
#1. Why does Paul emphasize in v.16 that the works of the Law can do nothing to justify us?
#2. What is the point of v.17? What sort of things do we rebuild in our lives as Christians that may take our eyes off Jesus?
#3. What hindrances are there to us living by faith in the Son of God and how can we overcome them?
#personal reflection: why do we seem to be the biggest hindrance to victorious living in Jesus?
