In this episode Dr. Art Canales discusses how Christian theology got to be so anti-LGBTQ+.  We also talk about how you might be able to still create at LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming spaces within more conservative churches.  We intentionally get into the theological weeds around natural law etc., to help people understand the underlying theological ideas that lead to harmful practices.  



Generally, there are two ways to fix these theological ideas:  1) attack them head on and shift the theologies or 2) adjust how we approach individuals on a pastoral or personal level.  Both are important and Art talks in this episode about how to maneuver through more conservative theological spaces to still allow for pastoral care of all persons.
