Our almighty God and savior could have chosen any number of ways to correct our failings and restore perfection to the universe, but Jesus chose to set aside power and glory to walk an earthly life of pain for our benefit. He does so humbly, as a servant, and grants us his grace that we might also serve others with the mercy poured into our hearts.
