Originally, your friendly neighborhood producer Lady H wanted to discuss the Spider-verse abstractly: discussing Spyder-Byte and Jessica Drew during an episode of Black women, femme, and nonbinary superheroes. And then Lady H got a message from Spider Society X (Black Marvel, Mme Lazet, Miss V, Anwar Starwind, and Mo) that we needed to do an episode on this movie and the animated Spider-verse.
