In the mornings when Gannon and I drive to school we read the quote of the day and the scripture of the day on the Gospel Library app. Gannon is at a private Christian school that’s Seventh-day Adventist. Each day they have Bible study and on Fridays they have chapel time. Gannon has really loved the discussions that they have in his Bible study class. This morning he started talking to me about Jesus bleeding in the garden of Gethsemane. We also started talking about how Jesus is the living water.
Jesus shed his blood for each of us and he is the living water. If we lose all of our blood in our body, we die. If we do not get water within a certain number of days we can die also. Water and blood are essential for us to remain alive. Jesus Christ provides for us the living water and the blood to live.
John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
