A few years ago, I wrote a letter to our stake president about my concerns as a mother and leader of mothers of the pornography plague that is covering our earth. I have been feeling like I should share this letter on my podcast and shine light on this battle that is happening with pornography and the promises that we have from our Heavenly Father. In 2 Timothy 3:1-7 it says, “1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Mosiah 20:11, “11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. But they fought for their lives, and for their wives, and for their children; therefore they exerted themselves and like dragons did they fight.” We’re prepared to “like dragons fight”.
