Luka Garza at the University of Iowa was a First Team All-American, the John R. Wooden National Player of the Year in 2021, and was arguably one of the best college basketball players of all time. The 6'10 center is now in the NBA playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but realized there was still an opportunity to maximize his efforts in college through blockchain technology. While Luka just missed the NIL era, he knew it was coming and started Luka Garza NFT Group, which had the goal in mind for athletes to monetize their NIL with any institutional involvement.
