We discuss the power of a good haircut, the importance of mentoring, and how we can all promote literacy for local kids in today's episode. Our guest is Tony Wheatley (he/him). Tony is the owner of TQC CUTZ Barber Shop in the Govans Neighborhood (5700 Bellona Avenue, Baltimore, MD). He has been cutting hair for more than 25 years, but he is also passionate about mentoring and reading among local youth. You can check out his shop's Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/TGQCUTZ/
We also discuss the story of Samson and Delilah from the book of Judges in the Bible. You can read along here.
This week's hosts are Revs. Tom Harris (he/him) and Billy Kluttz (he/him).
