Rachel's journey started in central Indiana when she was invited to attend the youth meetings at a local church. Despite early family opposition to her growing faith, Rachel persevered and proved her mettle as she joined the staff of her local church before ever attending college. After Johnson, Rachel's journey has included ministries in Indiana, California, and Missouri. Rachel's vocational service has included stints in youth ministry, missions ministry, and teaching ministries in the local church and at Ozark Christian College.
As a female in ministry, she has faced her share of opposition. Rachel is quick to let challengers know that she is not in ministry to set an example or blaze a trail. All she wants is to be faithful.
