Have you ever wanted to "get even" with those in whom you feel have wronged you? Like many others, you are not alone. Revenge is an act of emotional incapacitation which causes the offended to become no better than the offender. It is also sinful and must not be a part of the believer's life as God is the avenger of wrongs that are done to His children. In other words, vengeance belongs to Him. God's vindication is divine, righteous, and just as wrongdoers will receive the repayment they are due. So, leave the retaliation to God because he can do a better job at it since vengeance is mine says the Lord, I will repay.
