Character truly matters to God. Bishop Paul S Morton has been quoted concerning this subject. He said, "your personality is like perfume but your character is what you really smell like." How you treat others matter. Having integrity matters. Showing love to all people matters. Our character should exemplify our relationship with God. We are his name sake. Every parent wants their child to represent them well in and outside the home. God is no different he wants our character to be a reflection of Him.
