In our last episode of 2021, Court and Shaun are speaking to divine poet and writer Israel Gonzalez! Israel joins us with an intimate knowledge of poetic myth and the written word, and we discuss at length the importance of the goddess as an archetype and individual. Israel stresses that the goddess is not only a lofty being to be appreciated and respected, but she also lives in our mothers and sisters, shines from within our friends and coworkers, and once we recognize the importance of the divine feminine within our culture, we will take one giant leap for mankind. Together with illustrator Anette Pirso (and former guest of the ‘cast), Israel has recently published a beautiful volume on the goddess traversing the cultures of the world, soon to available to the wider public but currently in its initial printing phase through Kickstarter, aptly titled, “The Divine Feminine”.
