Description

Mostly Normal by Priyadeep Kaur is a collection of letters to her brother who suffers from a Neurological disorder. The book opens up an entirely new world and a new phase for the readers. The book focuses on and reveals the journey of acceptance towards disabilities and encouragement to take responsibility for people with special needs. The book has in it agony, sorrow, obstructions, optimism, hopefulness, inspiration, compassion, and closeness of a family with a child with special needs experiences. Gratefulness to the author, as she kept these entire years' letters safe and for the valour to make them publicly available.

The language is very much simple. It is absolutely easy to understand. At times the language felt raw and unedited but it’s the natural way the author had written them when she was a kid. I particularly loved the welcoming letter for her brother Safal. But also, there is a letter with just 4 worded, which will make the reader cry for sure. This book will undeniably open up a complete novel world and a new chapter to the readers.
