We can sometimes think the most spiritual thing we can do is speak truth. But often, it’s to simply stay present. Job’s friends failed when they started talking—but they were faithful when they sat with him for seven silent days. You don’t need the perfect words—you just need to carry the Spirit within you. When you show up for someone, it might be the most Christlike thing you ever do. God lives in you.
