This week's Scripture is the Transfiguration account from the Gospel of Mark. We journey with Jesus (and Peter, James, and John) up the mountaintop where Jesus encounters the prophets of old - Moses and Elijah. In that moment, Peter asks a question we can all relate to - "can we just stay here?" In other words, can we stay where it is good, safe, happy and whole? Peter does not receive a direct answer. However, what happens next is the ultimate answer.
