Let's talk about cutting cords. And no, I'm not talking about your cable bill, although that would definitely help out too.
I am talking about spiritual or energy cords. The ones that we don't see, but definitely can feel.
Just like an umbilical cord, that is although cut after birth, we have and will develop invisible cords. They tie us to everyone that comes into our life that has made an impact in some way.
Parents, siblings, children, friends, romantic partners, associates..... A lot of people and it can be anyone.
And just like our cable bill can drain our pockets of much needed cash flow, some energy cords drain us of our own energy, leaving us empty.
Not everyone that we know is good for us. Not everyone that we know wants the best for us. Some of these people or attachments, in fact, have the ability to control us, whether or not they live with us or even love us. And whether or not we see them everyday, we can still be controlled by an individual.
And it is by an invisible cord that it is possible.
Thoughts associated with a negative attachment associated with an individual or an object are obsessive, manipulative or fearful.
If you feel sad, drained, unworthy, unloved, and upset as a result of an individual or an object, this is a clear sign that you need to cut the cord.
Cutting the cord doesn't mean saying goodbye to an individual. It means that you have decided to no longer be controlled or drained of your energy anymore.
Can I repeat that again please!?
Cutting the cord doesn't mean saying goodbye to an individual. It means that you have decided to no longer be controlled or drained of your energy anymore.
A cord that is not cut allows the other individual to continuously absorb your energy.
Have you ever thought of a friend or family member and became really excited to the point that you wanted to see them, but as you thought more about it, you realized how bad you always felt afterwards? Or perhaps you did hang out with them only to realize that it makes you feel terrible.
In other words, sometimes the idea of an individual is better than being around the individual.
This is just one sign of a negative attachment towards someone. If someone is always trying to control you, whether you live with them or not, and rob you of your shine, you might want to think about cutting the cord!!
Cutting the cord not only gives you your power back, but it'll teach the other person how to use their own power wisely as well. Cutting cords allows everyone involved complete freedom to live their lives unattached and tied down to anyone unless you make a healthy choice to do so.
Cords between people should always be uplifting, powerful, strong, and full of love. If you find that they aren't beneficial in your life, set the intention to free yourself from the burden, the extra weight, and from the pain associated with being tied down to someone that doesn't have your best interest at heart.
