The year of 2020 was the year of the rat. Although, as the tale goes, the ox was meant to be first. However, the sneaky rat saw that he could take advantage of the ox's large yet slow size and hitch a ride upon his back. The ox, being true, didn't see it coming. He was rather enjoying the rats company through this long journey towards the finish line.
Once they were both at the finish line, the rat jumped off in front of the ox and took the lead.
The ox didn't boast as he doesn't see the need to rush things along or stand in front as he knows that good things comes to those that wait.
Which takes me to a verse in the Bible, Galatians 6:7-9 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
A slow yet stead pace, reaches the finish line without being overexerted. Working hard with a positive mindset and without looking ahead, will reap the reward.
This year, in general is about just that. Learning to slow down while taking the time to put whatever effort your life requires back into it.

Be like the ox who knows that whatever he works for, comes.
